While The Chapel, Chalet, Bower, The Lodge and Cabin are no longer available to rent as holiday accommodation through BBA, they remain a testament to the timeless, signature BBA aesthetic and its evolution. THE BOWER STUDIOS

The Bower Studios are Manhattan-luxe inspired, freestanding, 5-star luxury studios – sited perfectly beside the majestic, round mineral swimming pool. They were designed as adults-only spaces and while each reflects the aesthetic BBA is so well known for, they set a new benchmark for our signature style with next-level sophistication, luxury and a glamorous warm and sensual moodiness.

THE BOWER POOL AND SURROUNDS

The Vision was to create a 5-star tropical oasis that echoed the Bower’s design theme of tropical beach modernity with a decisive New York twist, at the centre of which is the award-winning perfectly round mineral pool.

THE CHALET

The Chalet is a mix of designs which reflects the sophisticated and bespoke Byron Beach Abodes aesthetic. It’s why tall, elegant handmade mirrors, vintage French towel rails and towel hooks in the ensuite, work so well with white louvre-covered windows, custom-made, rich, velvet built-in seating and mid-century furniture in another space.

THE LODGE

The Lodge needed to create a soothing and calming environment inside but also extend an open invitation to go outside and immerse yourself in all that’s great about a balmy Byron Bay day or night. With careful blending of interior and exterior materials and our signature softly muted colour palette throughout, we achieved just that.

THE BOWER DELUXE KING ROOMS

These rooms are some of the favourite spaces we’ve created with their seductive and moody colour palette. It was such a diversion from the Bower’s usual aesthetic which has a focus on soft whites, punctuations of colours, bespoke furniture pieces, hand-thrown pottery, curated vintage art and metres of the softest linens.

THE CABIN

“I was inspired by the fabulous architecture we saw while living in Queenstown. We wanted to bring a little slice of it back with us as something new to Byron Bay. When it came to the decor, I really wanted to create the look and feel of a mountain cabin, but with a truly luxe vibe.” – Taliah Lowry.

THE CHAPEL

The Chapel is all about paying homage to beautiful things from times gone by then creating an authenticity with a delicious layering of old and new. And it’s a perfect reflection of our attitude to sustainable design: reuse, recylce, upcycle. Really it’s just about cleverly using things you find beautiful and that delight by virtue of their shape, texture or history.

THE BOWER SUITES

The Bower Suites are spaces with character that are unique, timeless and transcend trends. The interiors are a clever mix of old and new with a touch of classic New York woven throughout the layers.

THE BOWER BARN

The Bower Barn has a timeless elegance, a cool neutral colour palette, lots of sumptuous linen and century-old timber beams, with the piece de resistance, the egg-shaped bath sitting under the full glass ceiling which puts nature on show day or night.

THE BOWER COTTAGE

The Bower Cottage is beautifully stamped with the BBA signature design aesthetic and style. It’s a place of relaxed, light-filled luxury with its expansive dining area merging onto an outdoor area contained within the private tropical gardens.

THE BOWER HOUSE

The Bower House reflects Byron Beach Abodes’ strong interplay with nature with splashes of statement greenery throughout and an effortless connection to the lush outside entertainment spaces.
