WHAT’S ON: Falls Festival

NO IT'S NOT TOO EARLY TO START PLANNING HOW YOU'RE GOING TO SAY GOODBYE TO THIS DECADE AND HERALD IN A NEW ONE. 2020 IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

Maybe this is the year to drop everything and head to Byron Bay for one of the country’s most epic music festivals – the Falls Festival in Byron - to ring in the New Year and a new decade.  The lineup’s been announced and early bird tix are now on sale, and if this 27th festival is anything like the others before it, it’ll be a sell out.

Organisers have confirmed that ‘international pop megastar Halsey is returning in the headliner slot, as well as NYC hitmakers Vampire Weekend, English house icons Disclosure, Icelandic indie folk/poppers Of Monsters And Men, Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi, German folk group Milky Chance and American singer-songwriter Banks’.

And the Aussie lineup includes The Voice, John Farnham, who’ll be making his Falls debut alongside a massive lineup of locals such as Peking Duk, Pnau, Vera Blue, G Flip, #1 Dads, one-person-band, Tash Sultana and lots more.

So gig booked. Tick.  And your accommodation?  Jump in quick for that too, because peak of summer is also peak tourist season in Byron, and we’d love for us to be part of your New Year’s celebrations.  So if camping’s not your thing and you’d rather cap a day of revelling in the best-of-the-best music-wise, come soak up a bit of sophisticated luxury at one of our Byron Beach Abodes properties, where meeting your every holiday comfort is our pleasure to deliver. By the way, come New Year we’ll have two new luxury suites at The Bower constructed as well as two new, next level, luxury barns. We’d love to see you in them!

PS. Have a listen to the 2019/2020 Falls Festival Spotify playlist (below), it's a cracker!
