Think about this: pouring a glass of Dom Perignon into a fine, crystal flute, lighting a Le Labo candle, lounging on the plush, custom-made velvet sofa which wraps around the French Oblica fireplace, and raising a glass to toast the end of another perfect day in Byron. Yep. I’d want to do that!
Sal’s edit, like The Cabin, is all about beautiful craftsmanship, thoughtful design, a hint of edginess, attention to the finest detail and the delight of combining something new with the familiar.
Sal and her partner Dave have always loved beautiful sunglasses and new pairs are always top of their shopping list when they travel. So it was that the idea for their own boutique space was born. “Byron Bay presented the perfect opportunity for us to open our own store and thoroughly indulge our passion for sunglasses,” says Sal. “We wanted to create a shop like the ones we found in Paris. A space where customers are instantly entranced by the visual beauty that surrounds them and they’ll find the best sunglasses from around the world to seduce them too.”
“We wanted to share our favourite sunglasses labels with like-minded people who truly appreciate quality and design which are the defining features of all the brands we stock. It’s why all of our sunglasses are manufactured in France or Italy using only the highest quality materials.”
At St Francis you’ll find the latest in sunglasses from brands including Celine, Saint Laurent, Retro Superfuture, Gucci, Tom Ford, Thierry Lasry, Oliver Peoples, Prada, Persol and Cutler and Gross.
