"A final property post from our recent road trip to Byron Bay! We spent a few nights in the Grand Villa at the Villas of Byron.
The Villas of Byron is one of the ten properties in the luxury Byron Beach Abodes holiday accommodation portfolio located in Byron Bay’s coveted Golden grid. Staying here feels like a dream. As soon as you walk in, it feels as though you’ve stepped inside a Balinese Spa. Although it’s not. It’s where you get to spend the next few days and nights and no one will ask you to leave after an hour. (yay!) The decor and details truly bring it all to life. From the outdoor showers, to the high bamboo ceilings, to the mosaic tiling, and oriental style gardens, it’s a true oasis in the heart of Byron Bay. By day you can indulge your senses in the Villa or explore the life of Byron at your gate. I would have loved to spent more time hanging out here in the day with a book. The Grand Villa is perfect for two couples & the living space is so comfortable, we hardly wanted to venture outside! Although we were visiting in the Winter season, we were still able to enjoy the heated pools & there is also an indoor shower if you feel the cold easily. I can’t wait to come back here over the Summer to truly unwind in this perfect slice of paradise."
"Magnolia House is another stunning property from our trip to Byron Bay, which I’m finally sharing with you now!
The house is situated on one of Byron’s laneways, and hidden behind a vibrant ficus hedge. A pair of vintage salvaged doors open to reveal a magnificent home designed for family, for entertaining and for play. This four bedroom, three bathroom property is perfect for a group trip up to Byron Bay. It’s perfect for a family getaway or for your group of friends, and has enough space to gather together, but also allows enough privacy in each of the rooms. Downstairs, there’s a large living and dining area and a media room for movie nights! Oh and there’s even a pool room! My pictures really don’t do the size or comfort of this place justice, so I’m sorry for that! I guess you’ll have to visit yourself to see more!
Upstairs, here are three queen beds,a central bathroom and a spacious master bedroom with king bed, bath area, separate ensuite and lounge. Outside you’ll find a dining area, spacious lawn space, and a pool as well. If you’re looking for even more space you can book the property over the wall as well and the houses can be opened up.
We stayed at Magnolia House as just the two of us and loved being able to enjoy it all to ourselves, but would definitely return here with a larger group to hang out with and enjoy the space together. Numbers wise, a group from four to eight people would be perfect in this house. Hope you’ll add this one to your list for a future stay in Byron Bay!"
"Home away from home. That’s what Byron Bay feels like. I can truly picture myself living in Byron Bay one day. I’ve only ever visited twice, but both times I’ve absolutely loved it. Everyone is so kind and relaxed, and nothing ever seems to be a problem, or a bother to the locals. It’s truly a great place to escape for a few days and just unwind. We drove up to Byron from Sydney for a week away from the city. I’m excited to be sharing with you some of the places we stayed during our time here. First up is The Bower Byron Bay. We stayed in The Bower Barn, located at the back of the property. The property is currently undergoing renovations on the pool, but it’s set to open in about a month, so lock this one into your Spring/Summer road trip calendar! Although we stayed during the time of renovations, it didn’t bother us at all and the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful during our time here. The property itself is located close to everything. Like all things in Byron, nothing is ever too far away. Right next door you’ll find the General Store Byron Bay, the perfect spot for breakfast, and five minutes drive away is the town and main beach.
Below is a look into our stunning room, The Bower Barn. The Bower Barn is a private oasis, housed under a pitched roof with reclaimed wooden beams and restored cottage windows. The Barn doors slide open at each end for extended private living space, should you want to spend some time sitting outside privately. The kitchenette is also super handy and provides everything you need if you want to stay inside to eat, which we did! The bathroom is an amazing highlight with it’s full glass ceiling and egg bath. I spent so much time in there relaxing in the baths and looking up at the stars. I was just obsessed with our stay and hope you might be able to experience it yourselves one day."
