ESSENTIAL EATS: Harvest Newrybar
July 13, 2017

Boasting a beautifully styled interior St Elmo is one of the most sophisticated locales in Byron. A social, modern eatery and the perfect venue for an intimate night out, a group dinner or destination for drinks.

A Spanish inspired menu serves fresh and flavoursome tapas, designed to be shared. While the cocktail menu is one of the best we’ve ever seen there’s also a range of craft beers and Italian, Spanish and Australian wines that the knowledgeable staff are more than happy to help you pair. We recommend you book ahead, arrive early and enjoy a cocktail at the bar.

Make sure you try the Conejo – slow cooked rabbit with borlotti beans, roast parsnip, cauliflower puree and rosemary, which is utterly divine. Or, Cositllas – beef short ribs in chipotle black beans with a green salsa and tomatoes, it’s out of this world. For dessert try the Pastel De ChocolatII or white chocolate and hazelnut torta. Tapas There’s also set menus perfect for group bookings that range between $55 – $68 per person.
