ACCOMM FEATURE: Tuula Vintage Stays at The Bower

SHE'S A SELF-PROFESSED 'WANDERER IN A PAST LIFE, MUM TO THE STRONGEST LITTLE HUMAN, AND LEARNING TO ADVOCATE FOR EXTREMELY RARE CHROMOSOME DISORDERS'. IT'S A CHANGED UP WORLD FOR JESSICA STEIN, THE NAME BEHIND TULLA VINTAGE AND ONE OF THE WORLD'S FAVOURITE AND HIGHLY INFLUENTIAL TRAVEL AND FASHION BLOGGERS. IT'S WHY WE JUST LOVED HAVING HER, HER PARTNER PAT AND THEIR SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL GIRL RUMI, STAY AT TWO OF BBA'S FAVOURITE PROPERTIES - THE BOWER BARN AND THE BOWER COTTAGE - RECENTLY.

We've long been fans of Jessica's aesthetic and her passion for all the world has to offer.  In her world and ours, there's always room for luxe but it's taking joy in the simple which enriches our souls most: colour, music, nature, the company of friends and strangers, stories from big cities and the roads less travelled.  We also share her love for lounging around on superbly designed furniture, the beauty in the textures of natural fibres, a wooden table, a rustic door or statement ceiling beam, quiet spaces to escape to to relax and regenerate, and bigger spaces to chill out and share time with friends and family.

We're thrilled that The Bower and Byron Bay provided that and the backdrop to making wonderful memories with baby Rumi: time together for Mum and bub in the beautiful egg-shaped bath under the stars,  a family picnic on the beach with a divine platter from The Poor Girls Pantry, strolls along the coastline, tiny feet burrowing in wet sand and swirls of flattened ocean waves, and lots and lots of blissful together time.

We're grateful to have Jessica in our lives.  It helps us refocus on that which is truly important and invaluable in achieving a successful life. Here's what Jessica thinks about her her time at Byron Beach Abodes and Byron, and you might like to read more about Jessica's story here.

"While we were in Byron Bay we were lucky enough to stay at our new favourite accommodation, The Bower. It boasts several impeccably curated dwellings on the property but their most intimate space blew us away. “The Barn” is literally a converted barn, with wooden beamed heigh ceilings and quaint cottage windows. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Byron Bay’s main town just minutes away, nestled under the trees that you can watch sway from the bathrooms glass ceiling. The perfect getaway spot for a couple, maybe with a tiny human too. Ru and I had spent the afternoon splashing around in the tub when the sky suddenly opened up, and we got to bathe beneath a thunderstorm in awe. There is no better way to spend a day on holiday.

Thank you to the @the_bower_byron_bay for having us in my favourite place that I've ever stayed, and could genuinely imagine living in this cottage! Thank you for going above and beyond for us; helping us with Ru's equipment, finding an alternate IV pole after we forgot ours, and staff feeling more like family playing with Ru each day. We can't wait to be back"
